General Notice
New Albany Borough (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Sidewalk & Drainage Reconstruction
3388-002
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the New Albany Borough located at New
Albany Volunteer Fire Dept. Social Hall, 134 Main Street, New Albany, PA 18833 until Wednesday,
February 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. All received bids will be publicly opened and read at Borough
Council Meeting at 6:00 pm on February 4, 2026.
The Project includes the following Work:
The work to be done under this project is to repair and replace a section of sidewalk along SR
220 and Fawcett Road, as well as install new curbs and ADA accessible curb ramp.
All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit or bid bond in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of
the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents.
Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time before the time set for the opening of the bids. No bidder
may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening, but may withdraw it any time prior
to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids.

• Electronic (pdf) files for a non-refundable payment of $40 (check only payable to HUNT-EAS)
Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land
Surveyors & Landscape Architect, LLC, 1 Elizabeth Street, Suite 12, Towanda, PA 18848 between the
hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time
at the intersection of State Route 220 and Fawcett Road (across from park), New Albany, PA 18833.
Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
